If you are in the Gainesville, Florida area, you can gain valuable experience for your professional future by interning with Women for Wise Growth. We accept interns from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines, regardless of skill level. Internships range in time commitment and length, and are unpaid. However, if you are currently a student at a local university or college, Women for Wise Growth is willing to work with your department to arrange for course credit. We can work with your schedule to accomodate your needs and goals.

We especially welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and fields. Disciplines include, but are not limited to: environmental science, urban and regional planning, women's studies, political science, public policy, ecology, public health, etc. We are looking for interns who have strong communication and research skills, a rudimentary understanding of local public policy, environmental issues, and sustainability, and/or a willingness to learn.
