Women for Wise Growth is a grassroots political action committee comprised of members who routinely volunteer their time and energy to improving the quality of life in Alachua County for our future generations. As a political action committee, Women for Wise Growth holds educational community forums and events, endorses candidates, sponsors "Politics and Potluck" events where Alachua County residents can meet local candidates, and is involved in pro bono work in with various other non-profit agencies.
While Women for Wise Growth has low overhead costs (we do not maintain an office), the organization relies primarily on support from members in the organization and community members to keep it going. Money is needed to rent community spaces for events, for publicizing events, and for maintaining this website. We have a small budget, but we are proud of what we have been able to accomplish with limited financial resources and a faithful reserve of dedicated volunteer members. However, we always welcome additional funds to help us set higher goals and achieve more for our community.
